What Professional Blogging Is about

Almost everyone agrees that blogging is a great way of promoting a business. It is also a platform for business from which it can be lead. Professional blog writers use this medium to communicate with their audience and build friendship instances that can lead to solid-base businesses.

Professional blogging is more than writing posts after posts and publishing them to the web. It’s about engaging the audience in what is the most important concern for them. Many start a blog and write about what they are very much interested in. There is nothing wrong about this if you can find the type of audience who cares exactly for the same topics.

What Is Professional Blog Writers’ Concern?

They want to be helpful for their audience. They write for a group of readers who have found something of interest in their blogs. They listen more than what they write. They ask their audience where they need more information and guidelines. Then, they provide for them.

In professional blogging, a two-way line of communication is established where both sides talk to each other. The blogger writes and readers comment, email, tweet, etc. The blogger sets up a poll and asks where they need help. Then, he (she) provides what is in need. This is how professional blog writers reply to their audience requirement.

How Professional Blogging Is Differentiated

There is a long list of various tactics used by such experts at their blogs. What they do and how they conduct their steps are different from ordinary bloggers. Here is a series of how they work:

1) They are always ahead of their audience, but write in a way to inform others in proper way.

2) They reach out more people by using rich media like audio, video, etc.

3) They use other online marketing media like email marketing for communicating more efficiently with their audience.

4) They offer free valuable information to upgrade the level of knowledge among their audience using some stuff like ebooks, etc.

5) They consider the language their audience is comfortable with.

6) They promote their blogs using social media like facebook and Twitter.

This list can continue and become larger and larger. What is important for everyone to become a professional blog writer is to take it seriously and learn it from the successful masters of this on the web. Once you learn what it means to conduct professional blogging, you become very sensitive toward the experts’ blogs and how they write for their site. This will be due to the intuition and knowledge you develop.

Over the course of time, such knowledge becomes practicable once you take a course, training program, coaching system, etc. Then, you leave the same impact in your audience when they visit your blog. You become like a magnet and shine, because you have learned how to help and give, which eventually ends up in attracting business to your blog.

Earn Money Online With Blogs

Blogging has been around for several years now, and is more than a fad. Its not only the realm of pimply faced teenagers and internet addicts. If you seriously want to earn money online, you need to be blogging. Blog is the abbreviated version of “web log”. They were originally used as a type of online diary for people who wanted to record their thoughts for posterity sake, and share information with friends and the world in general. They are still used in that way but many in the business community see blogs as a way of developing true “content oriented” websites.

These websites not only help the business earn money online, but also provide true content and value for people reading them. The other major reason blogshave become popular with businesses of all kinds, is that they are free.

Google’s “blogger” site is free for anyone with a google account. They provide what amounts to unlimited storage space for all your thoughts, as well as a place to advertise without any cost. Savvy internet marketers earn money online by getting as many hits on their sites as possible.

Blogger blogs are indexed in search engines very quickly compared to standard page sites. The rapid indexing allows you to show up in search engine results pages (serps) far quicker than the standard method of search engine submission. Many blogger blogs are indexed within a few days. I have actually seen some indexed with a few hours and the faster your site shows up in the SERPS the faster you can start to earn money online.

Search engines love text. Pretty pictures and graphics are great, but the search engine spiders read text, they live for text. To the crawlers text is everything, and text is something blogs provide in abundance. Pumping up your visability in the search engine rankings gets you more hits, and blogs have plenty of “just plain words” for the search engines to read.

You can run a blog alone, or as a supplement to your existing website. many successful entrepreneurs earn money online with just a blog that promotes affiliate programs, or Google adsense or other chosen income streams. But the really savvy business owner uses the blog for keyword marketing, and to drive traffic to sales pages, or squeeze pages (more about that in another article).

The words in the blog give your overall site higher visability. You can use blogs as one accountant I know does and keep your customers and clients informed of accounting strategies, which in turn keeps them reading the blog, and keeps them linking to his sales page where he also provides other services like tax prep, bookkeeping, credit repair, etc.

You can use a blog to organize your own thoughts in a format that is accessible to you anywhere in the world. If your planning to earn money online, then you need to keep track of your business objectives. A blog is the perfect format for this. You expand your business plan, something you need to do anyway, and it is accessible so that they can read about your business also. The more information you provide, the more visible your site becomes. Its like automatic advertising in a format that search engines love.

Blogging platforms are generally free. Google’s Blogger is hosted on their servers, so you dont even need a hosting account yet. But you may want to get one. If you have your own domain, your blogger blog can be hosted on your account also. It gives you a little more control. If you want even more control over your blog, try using WordPress. Its a free blogging platform that you can host on your account, and you get all the code so its completely configurable. Go to google and use a search query like “powered by wordpress” and you can take a look at hundreds of WordPress blogs to see how they can be configured.

Now you have a brief introduction to blogging. This is an extremely powerful communication and marketing tool. Use it to your advantage and soon you will start to earn money online like hundreds of other blog marketers.

How Did Blogs Come About?

Blogging as a phenomenon grew from the connectivity of the internet, and with internet access almost as common in homes and businesses as the phone, people are finding that it is a very beneficial tool. In fact, the internet is having the same type of impact on people’s lives as the introduction of the telephone once did, broadening connections around the globe, allowing them to keep in touch, do business, and store data. And creating a blog sets up one of the most useful of the new internet tools.

Blog entries are more like a personal journal than anything else, even when used for business purposes. The word “blog” is a shortened form of “weblog,” which is itself a combination of “web” and “log.” So the blog is like a log of someone’s thoughts on particular topics. The writer posts a blog entry, perhaps once a day, discussing everything from what the cat did that morning, to book reviews, to business information.

Blogging came from dissatisfaction with how the first internet websites worked. Initially, individuals and businesses created sites that were more like encyclopedia or dictionary pages than anything else. All the pages did was to provide information that viewers were to sit and absorb. Eventually, however, designers and viewers recognized that this did nothing to build relationships or to convey that the website owner cared what they thought. Something more personal and even interactive was needed. So the blog phenomenon began as an electronic diary, where people recorded their daily thoughts. Each blog post included a spot for readers to add comments, and eventually communities formed, comprised of people interested in the topics discussed in the blog.

Companies started to make blogs the place where customers would read the latest business news. Blogging presented the information in a much more conversational way, making the presentation more like a chat than a lecture with facts and figures. Those are still on websites, and if someone is interested, he or she can find them as needed. But business is no longer the authority on high, telling customers what is good for them.

Businesses also soon discovered that the other benefit of blogs was the Comments section, where customers could finally give concrete feedback. Through the response to bloggers, companies began learning what their customers actually wanted from them, possibly for the first time. They could eliminate or modify products, improve service, and add services that were in high demand. Customers, in turn, were impressed that they could influence the direction the company took.

Now most companies have recognized how useful and important blogging is to their public relations and prosperity. Whether it’s a small business or a larger firm, learning from and responding to customers’ comments on the company blog helps build loyalty and improve services. Individuals are also relating in new ways, sharing interests with people halfway around the world. If people really want to have an impact on the internet, then this is one of the most effective ways to accomplish that end.
